MSP Breakout Box H-D J1850 for Harley-Davidson

The German manufacturer Motogadget designed the breakout Box HD-J1850 to allow installation of the Motoscope Pro speedometer on Harley-Davidson models. Please note that this only applies to models equipped with the old SAEJ1850 digital bus:

HD with TwinCam engine since 2004 (DEUTSCH connectors and dashboard on the tank: HD TWINCAM;
HD with connector: HD XL DEUTSCH;
HD Sportster since 2004 (DEUTSCH or MOLEX connectors): HD XL DEUTSCH or HD XL MOLEX;
HD V-ROD (DEUTSCH connectors): HD VRSC.

Please note: The Breakout Box H-D J1850 is not suitable for models equipped with the new H-D LAN bus. Furthermore, it can be used only with the Motoscope Pro speedometer. If you wish to connect other instruments, you will need to use the mo.can J1850.

For simplicity, the module developed by Motogadget offers a very easy connection. No complex manipulations or soldering are required. It only needs to be connected to the screw terminals of the breakout box, the Motoscope Pro cables to the breakout box. Then the connector is plugged into the original wiring harness. Nothing could be simpler.
