By replacing the original catalytic converter with the Zard racing decatalyzer, the Pan America 1250 breathes differently. The thermal and mechanical restriction imposed by the factory catalytic converter disappears, releasing exhaust gases that escape more freely and quickly.
The result is immediate: +3.8 HP when the decatalyzer is combined with the original exhaust, and up to +5.9 HP when coupled with the Zard muffler. In addition to this power gain, there is a weight reduction of 1.7 kg compared to the original catalytic converter, for a lighter, more responsive, and more communicative motorcycle.
