⚠️ Essential Safety Information
🚫 Not to be used with breast implants
The SHOT SRG-1 Air Guard airbag vest must under no circumstances be used by individuals with breast implants.
Upon deployment, the airbag inflates in a few milliseconds and exerts significant pressure on the chest.
This imperative instruction must be followed before any use.
Intelligent, wireless, and ultra-responsive airbag protection
The SRG-1 airbag vest is based on In&motion technology, recognized as one of the most advanced on the market. Unlike wired motorcycle airbags, this system operates completely autonomously, with no connection to the motorcycle. Integrated sensors continuously analyze your position and movements with over 1,000 calculations per second.

In a critical situation, deployment is almost instantaneous (less than 60 ms), effectively protecting vital areas: chest, back, abdomen, and neck. This extremely fast reaction time makes all the difference in limiting serious injuries, both on the road and in off-road practice.
The airbag adapts to your use thanks to several detection modes: motocross, enduro, road, track, or adventure. You can thus switch from one discipline to another without changing equipment, a real asset for versatile riders.
Enhanced safety with D3O® technology
Beyond the active protection offered by the airbag, the SRG-1 also integrates high-end passive D3O® protections, an intelligent material capable of absorbing shocks while remaining flexible.

The EN1621-2 Level 2 certified back protector and the EN1621-3 Level 1 chest protector ensure permanent protection, even when the airbag is not deployed. This double level of safety significantly reinforces rider confidence, whether for daily road use or extreme conditions in motocross and enduro.
Designed for comfort: lightweight, ventilated, and ergonomic
One of the great strengths of the SHOT SRG-1 is its user comfort. Its anatomical construction perfectly hugs the body for optimal support without hindering movement.
The ventilated mesh vest promotes air circulation, an essential advantage during summer rides or intensive off-road sessions. With a contained weight of only 1.8 kg, it is quickly forgotten, even during long riding days.
The double zip system makes it easy to put on and allows for quick installation, whether you are wearing motocross gear, a motorcycle jacket, or full enduro equipment.
Simple use designed for motorcyclists
The SRG-1 has been designed to simplify users' lives. After deployment, replacing the gas cartridge (inflator) can be done autonomously in less than two minutes, without a trip to the workshop.
The system also offers quick deflation in about 30 seconds, to quickly get back on the handlebars after a fall. Water-resistant, it can be used in the rain and easily cleaned with a jet.
Thanks to the dedicated mobile application, you maintain full control over your equipment: battery level, system status, updates... everything is accessible in a few seconds from your smartphone.
Autonomy and daily performance
The In&box module, the true brain of the system, offers up to 30 hours of autonomy, enough to cover several outings without recharging. Full charging takes only 3 hours via USB, which easily integrates into your routine.
Regular updates allow for continuous improvement of detection performance. The more the user community rides, the more precise the algorithms become, guaranteeing an even more efficient airbag over time.
A motorcycle airbag approved for competition and road
The SHOT SRG-1 benefits from recognized certifications, including FIM approval (categories 1 and 2) as well as the FFM label. These distinctions confirm its level of performance and reliability, both for competition use and for leisure or road riding.
It is thus aimed at all profiles:
- daily motorcyclists looking for road safety;

FAQ – SHOT SRG-1 Air Guard motorcycle airbag
How does the SRG-1 motorcycle airbag work?
The SRG-1 uses intelligent In&motion technology. To activate it, it must be paired with an In&box, available via a subscription or purchase plan. Once the box is received, simply create an account via the dedicated mobile application and follow the activation steps. The airbag then becomes operational and ready to analyze your movements in real-time.
Which plan to choose for the In&box?
Two solutions are available depending on your usage and budget:
- Classic Plan
- A plan with a monthly (12 € incl. VAT) or annual (120 € incl. VAT) subscription including unlimited warranty on the box.
- Revolution Plan
- Purchase your In&Box (400 € incl. VAT) with a 2-year warranty.
Each plan provides access to one detection mode. It is then possible to add other modes (road, motocross, enduro, track, etc.) as an option, to adapt the airbag to different practices.
Are there partner benefits?
Yes, purchasing the SRG-1 may allow you to benefit from offers from partners in the motorcycle and insurance world, particularly through certain federations or specialized companies (FFM, Mutuelle des Motards, Vivium, Axa, Macif, April moto). These benefits evolve regularly.
How to choose the right size?
The SRG-1 is designed to be worn snugly, close to the body. This ensures maximum effectiveness of the airbag system in case of deployment. It is generally recommended to opt for a size slightly smaller than your usual size.
What is the difference between MX, Adventure, and Adventure Race modes?
Each mode corresponds to a specific practice:
- MX mode is dedicated to motocross on closed circuits.
- Adventure mode is designed for trail and leisure enduro.
- Adventure Race mode is optimized for competition (rally, enduro).
- MX PRO mode available on request (MXGP, MX2, EMX 250, EMX 125 level or equivalent).
- ADVENTURE PRO mode available on request (RALLY GP or RALLY 2 level).
How does the airbag deploy?
Deployment does not depend solely on speed. The system continuously analyzes several parameters: movements, accelerations, loss of grip, impacts, and lean angle.
The algorithms are designed to distinguish a real fall from a normal off-road situation (such as a jump or vibration), to avoid unnecessary deployments while ensuring optimal protection when necessary.
How were the algorithms developed?
The detection modes have been developed based on thousands of kilometers ridden by riders of all levels, in motocross, enduro, rally, and trail. This work spanned several years and continues to evolve thanks to data collected from the user community.

Can I wear a neck brace with the SRG-1?
No, the use of a neck brace (rigid or soft) is incompatible with wearing the SRG-1. Combining the two pieces of equipment could cause injuries if the airbag deploys.
How does the SRG-1 protect riders?
The SRG-1 combines two levels of protection:
- Passive technology
- A D3O® CP1 L1 CHEST certified EN1621-3 Level 1 chest protector.
- A D3O® Special INEMOTION BP L2 certified EN1621-2 Level 2 back protector.
- Active technology
- When the bag is deployed, it protects the chest, abdomen, back, and neck.
This dual technology ensures continuous safety, with or without deployment.
What is the deployment time?
The complete system (30 milliseconds detection + 30 milliseconds inflation) deploys in approximately 60 milliseconds. This is an extremely short time, allowing for protection before impact in most situations.
How does detection work?
The In&box features multiple sensors (3 accelerometers and 3 gyroscopes) that continuously analyze rider movements (1,000 analyses per second). Using this data, algorithms identify a fall and trigger the airbag in 60 milliseconds, which is the blink of an eye.
How do I activate the airbag?
Simply turn on the In&box using the dedicated button, then insert it into the vest's housing. Once correctly installed, the system indicates it's ready to operate via light signals. Then place the In&box on the back of the SRG-1. The LEDs turn green, indicating that your SRG-1 is fully functional.
What is the battery life and charging time?
The In&box offers up to 30 hours of use. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours via a standard 220V USB cable.
Does the airbag deflate after a fall?
After deployment, the airbag remains inflated to continue protecting the rider against a potential second impact. For complete deflation, it is necessary to intervene on the system, particularly by removing the cartridge.
When should the gas cartridge be replaced?
The cartridge (inflator) must be replaced after each deployment. This operation is simple and can be performed by the user, without specific tools.
Where can I buy a replacement cartridge?
Cartridges are available from specialized retailers or online at inemotion.com.
What is the lifespan of the airbag?
The airbag pocket is designed to function for multiple deployments. It must be replaced after 5 deployments. This operation is performed by the Shot Race Gear maintenance team.
How do I care for the SRG-1?
Cleaning is simply done with clear water. Before any operation, it is necessary to remove the electronic parts (inflator and In&Box) and the back protector. No machine washing. Use mild soap or detergent, rinse with cold water, maintaining a distance of 2m for a high-pressure jet.
Can I ride in the rain with the SRG-1?
Yes, the SRG-1 can be used in light to moderate rain. In case of heavy rain, it is preferable to wear it under a waterproof jacket. As a reminder, the In&box should never be submerged.
Are there any complementary protections?
Yes, it is possible to add a complementary protection vest for the shoulders and elbows, to further increase the level of safety without compromising comfort. By combining the SRG-1 with an AERO vest, you benefit from superior protection. The AERO is CE EN1621-1 certified. It protects the shoulders and elbows.
What is the deflation ring used for?
This optional accessory allows for rapid deflation of the airbag after deployment. It is exclusively reserved for training or competition on closed circuits. This allows the rider to quickly resume the race after a fall. SRG airbags equipped with the deflation ring comply with FIM requirements for Category 2 airbags. Order a deflation ring for your SRG-1.
