To install an Hepco & Becker crash bar on a Honda XL 750 Transalp without any pre-existing protection, this adapter kit is the essential part. It connects the motorcycle to the crash bars, regardless of the intended mounting.

When do you need this adapter kit?
This adapter kit is necessary if no engine or tank crash bar, whether Hepco & Becker or original Honda, is already installed on your Transalp 750.
A single kit is sufficient, regardless of the chosen configuration: engine bar only (ref. 5019539), tank bar only (ref. 5029539), or both bars combined. In all cases, it acts as a mounting support between the motorcycle and the bar.
However, if an engine or tank crash bar is already in place, whether Hepco & Becker or original Honda, this adapter becomes unnecessary: the existing bar already serves as a support and the second bar attaches directly to it.
